Creating MP4 video files from DICOM using Osirix

A colleague of mine recently showed me how to convert a DICOM  file to MP4 to  upload to PowerPoint or Google slides. This is useful for educators who are putting presentations together and I want to present radiology cases. I use PowerPoint but recently, I've learned of new tools on Google Slides (audience response system using Poll Everywhere). So, now I preferentially use Google Slides for my presentation and I've had a very positive experience.

The video below walks you through how to convert DICOM to MP4 file, which can then be uploaded directly to you hard drive, Google Drive or YouTube. Alternatively, you can upload the MP4 file directly to PowerPoint presentation. The format Osirix output for mp4 format is compatible with recent Microsoft office version only. (I have a Office 2010 and it's not compatible. If this problem arises, you can upload the MP4 file directly to Google Drive and use their video converter that will allow you to convert to the MP4 to a format that is compatible with the older Office package.)
